What is Wood Pulp?
Wood pulp is made by pressing fresh spruce logs with stone rollers and additional water. This breaks down the wood structure into itsconstituit parts. The resulting pulp is then pressed into shape with a
special form to create the wood pulp banneton. Bannetons have been produced in this way since the 1920s without any chemical additives. Our wood pulp bannetons are produced using spruce wood only from sustainable forestry.
