This Nesmuk bread knife, with its distinctive serrated edge, is a triumph of modern craftsmanship. Featuring an ergonomic handle and an innovative serrated edge with dual undulating teeth heights, this bread knife is both an eye-catcher and a design masterpiece for the kitchen. The teeth of this bread knife from the Janus series are also coated with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon), which is three times harder than steel. The impressive and elegant handles, crafted from rare walnut burlwood, are among the finest and most expensive European woods. Only walnut burlwood is used in making these Nesmuk handles. The wood coloring ranges from dark brown to gold or reddish brown.

    Care instructions

    • Do not wash in the dishwasher
    • Rinse and dry knives immediately after use, especially when cutting acidic foods
    • Do not use abrasive cleaning detergent or hard sponges or cleaning brushes.
    • Never leave the wooden handles in water and always dry them thoroughly. Re-oil them from time to time, e.g. with camellia oil.
    • Store knives neatly, for example on a magnetic knife rack. If stored loose in a drawer, the blades and handles can become damaged.
    • Do not cut on surfaces that are harder than the blade steel, such as ceramic, glass or stone. A wooden cutting board is best.
