Cotton Oven Mitts
The first oven mitts with which I haven't burned myself. These double-knit cotton oven mitts are made specifically for the bakery trade and are very heat-resistant. The oven mitts are certified up to a temperature of 250°C. With these oven mitts even heavy roasting pans or steel baking plates can be easily lifted from a hot oven. Although the oven mitts are a size 10, they are also suitable for smaller hands since they shrink slightly after the first wash and the soft material conforms well to the hand. I had the mitts tested on hands from size 6 to 12 and everyone was delighted with the fit. Since the cotton terry cloth fabric loses fine fibers, I recommend washing the oven mitts twice before use. As a forewarning, cotton fibers can burn when handling very hot oven dishes. In order to avoid this, it is better to use oven mitts or potholders made from leather.
